First I want to thank every one that took the time to come say HI at my signings at SDCC, and those who purchased the customs that I brought down. Special thanks to the fan who gave me his mechanical pencil!
Now that Comic-Con 09 is in the rearview mirror, I’m focusing on the big Angry Clobber Monkey release party at Munky King the Sept 10th! New customs on the way, plus some other special things. Keep coming back for new posts, and sneak peeks.

MORE ACM CUSTOMS!
More customs rolling out! Here's another one, the German Afrika Korps ACM. It is not widely known that during world war 2 the German armor division put into service several captured Angry Clobber Monkeys on the front lines in Northern Africa.
The ACM's were liberated at the end of the war. It is rumored that a Russian ACM was seen near hitler's bunker when he allegedly committed suicide.
The official release of the standard ACM will be September 10th at Munky King in Los Angeles. More details to come. At Comic Con we will have a variety of my hand made customs. Keep checking the blog for peeks all this week!

MEET JACK HOWE!
My good friend and genius assemblage artist Jack Howe was in town this weekend.
He dropped by my studio with his effervescent wife Trudy to visit, and take a few pics of his latest work. These pieces are what Jack calls “Pocket Shrines” Jack has a talent for finding the most amazing trinkets and bizarre antique curiosities them transforming them into story art.
Here’s a few of his latest works that can be seen at Gold Bug in Pasadena.
Jack can describe in great detail how every individual part of the piece tells a story.
Each box opens to reveal an entire scene.
Here, Jack demonstrates the pure escents of low brow art.
